Phoebe Chu

Phoebe spent most of her childhood balancing between western and eastern culture as she was born and raised in Hong Kong - a gateway to both the east and the west. She grew up learning Chinese paintings and calligraphy and developed an inquisitive understanding in character structure and pattern. Her experience of transforming that to spatial experience is a continuous transit: emotionally, physically and culturally. She completed her Master degree at the Oslo school of architecture and design and working as an architect in Oslo, carry on the artistic and ambiguous relationship between Chinese character structure to architectural space.

She worked in Norway, Belgium, Hong Kong and Shanghai in the past 10 years, her works included resort hotels, retails, housing and museum. The project she worked as a key designer in Design Systems ltd is “Tuve Hotel”, it received more than 25 awards from around the world and brought her a golden award in 2017 Asia Design Awards.
