Vanessa is an Architect and Photographer currently based in London. Her artistic practice explores how images cut into the representation of spatial dynamics, through the in depth understanding of the built environment developed during her years-long exposure in the field of architecture.

Vanessa has worked in a number of international architecture firms where she cultivated the competence in handling large-scale design and construction projects from research to realization, before she co-founded the research and design platform Project: As If ___. She also runs Atelierisphere Co. for tailor-made visual branding solutions and strategic marketing proposals.

Vanessa is the recipient of HKIA CPD Research Grant and Design Trust Seed Grant. She graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Master of Architecture and a BA in Architectural Studies; and is currently pursuing a MA of Photojournalism and Documentary Photography in University of the Arts London to further contextualize her image making practice through a multitude of theoretic lenses.
